Detox is necessary for adults who are likely to experience withdrawal symptoms or complications requiring medical intervention. It takes place under the close supervision of our medical and nursing staff to withdrawal the patient from all chemicals and manage any medical needs that arise during treatment. The length of the detox period will depend on the patient’s needs and symptoms. Staff utilizes a variety of techniques to address both the psychological and medical components in this early phase of recovery. While detoxing, patients will also participate in mindfulness work, trauma release exercises and yoga.
