When an individual doesn’t require 24-hour supervision as they work on their recovery, day treatment and outpatient counseling can be great options. Our outpatient treatment programs are designed to provide healing and therapy for those who don’t need full residential treatment or those who need a step-down option after completing an inpatient treatment program. These treatment programs allow patients to seek intensive treatment during the day but return home in the evenings, offering flexibility and providing the opportunity to practice learned skills in a patient’s everyday environment.

Our Substance Use Outpatient Treatment Programs
Partial Hospitalization Day Program
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) serves as a bridge between our residential and intensive outpatient programming. This level of care provides structured day treatment under the care of medical experts. Our team helps to build spiritual recovery support systems that enable patients to take an active role in renewing their life.
We also help participants develop support networks outside of treatment by attending and participating in 12-step meetings. The goal of PHP is to teach new coping skills that can be actively practiced and supported at home, work, and in the community. PHP includes six hours of treatment on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm.
Calvary’s PHP also includes:
- Daily group therapy
- Recovery education lectures
- Weekly appointments with a physician
- Recreation therapy
- Acupuncture
- Yoga and trauma release therapy (TRE)
- 12-step speakers
- Lunch provided
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) focuses on providing tools that help maintain sobriety. The IOP model has been time-tested for more than 20 years, providing flexibility and convenience with intensive treatment experience. Calvary Healing Center has a professional staff that develops individualized plans, which include recovery coaching, relapse prevention, and family group therapy to ensure the healing of everyone affected.
Weekly groups focus on relapse prevention planning, relationships, communication, issues in early recovery, and cultural components of recovery. IOP groups meet three times a week for three hours a day. We have flexible treatment times to fit any schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends.
Additional Outpatient Mental Health Services
People with substance use issues may often find themselves struggling with other behavioral health issues that can impact addiction and be a detriment to recovery. Our patients should not have to seek out psychiatric treatment at another behavioral health center while in our care.
At Calvary Healing Center, we provide behavioral health services for co-occurring disorders alongside our evidence-based addiction treatment. Our multidisciplinary team utilizes a variety of therapy modalities to help patients cope with life stressors and past trauma that can impede the recovery process.
Helping Families Heal Through Outpatient Treatment
Detox and additions to drugs and alcohol can tear apart the lives of individuals and families. Calvary Healing Center is dedicated to helping people who want to start the recovery process and teaching families how to support this life change.
Family involvement is also crucial to recovery, so we offer weekly multi-family group therapy and education groups just for family members. Our family program each Saturday provides addiction education about topics like the stages of change, enabling behaviors, and family dynamics. Loved ones are also invited to attend our no-cost local weekly family support group on Thursdays from 6 to 8 pm.
