Residential care is the most comprehensive approach to lasting wellness and recovery. With 50 beds, the 30-day residential treatment program at Calvary Healing Center involves 24-hour care with a trauma-informed approach to addiction treatment. Our residential rehab center treats the whole person with around-the-clock nursing from registered nurses and a physician, as well as psychiatry and other behavioral health services provided on-site.
This holistic approach to care eliminates the need for our patients to seek out another behavioral health hospital while in our care. Many of our patients find themselves struggling with other psychiatric symptoms, like anxiety and depression, so it’s important that we provide dual diagnosis treatment. Our goal is to help patients not only recover from addiction but also develop the skills they need to manage their mental health long-term. Through our residential treatment program in Phoenix, Arizona, patients can begin to move forward.
Why We Offer Residential Treatment
Addiction is considered to be a chronic disease, which means it’s characterized by relapses. Even after going through detox and completing an inpatient or outpatient treatment program, there’s always a risk of relapse. That’s why residential treatment can be so beneficial for those in recovery.
Residential treatment provides a higher level of care than other types of treatment, which is why it’s often recommended for those who have already been through detox and other programs but have relapsed. Residential treatment is also beneficial for those who are struggling with severe addiction or who have co-occurring mental health disorders.
A few of the benefits of residential treatment include:
- 24/7 access to care
- A supportive and structured environment
- A focus on healing the whole person
- The opportunity to develop a strong support system
The Residential Treatment Program at Calvary Healing Center
At Calvary Healing Center, master’s-level state-licensed therapists offer individual and group therapy utilizing motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, 12-step facilitation, and other treatment modalities. By providing addiction treatment alongside other mental health services, we give our patients a better chance at lasting recovery. Our entire team works together to provide extensive discharge and aftercare planning, giving our patients a roadmap to a long, enriched life in sobriety.
Residential treatment at Calvary Healing Center begins with a medical examination and psychiatric evaluation (if needed). The program continues with a psychosocial assessment, group and one-on-one sessions, addiction and recovery education, relapse prevention therapy, recreational therapy, and holistic offerings like yoga and music therapy.
Substance use can sometimes lead to severe neglect of health and nutrition, so we also provide nutritional support, health monitoring, and wellness options that meet individual needs. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is also offered at our detox and residential treatment center, as necessary, in conjunction with other therapeutic approaches. For those who desire a more spiritual path to recovery, we also offer a faith-based track.
